With the blessing of Akshar Niwasi Guru Varya, Param Pujya Purani Swami Shri Haripriyadasji, Param Pujya Shastri Swami Shri Hari Prakashdasji established a huge education institute on 31.1.1975 in Gandhinagar Capital of the State.

   Today under the auspices of Satsang Shiksha Parishad Trust, thousands of students of school and college are taking education as well as knowledge about moral values in life in Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul Gandhinagar and in the schools run by the institute at Bhavnagar, Porbandar, Kevadiya Colony, Ladhidar, Rojad and  Dharampur. 

Students of Junior K.G. to Standard 7 (Gujarati Medium) are imparted education in Shri Swaminaryan Shishu Vidyalaya.  Moreover, a various activities like sports and games and cultural programmes are arranged for over all development of the students.

The students of Junior K.G. upto Standard 10 are imparted education as per the Syllabus of C.B.S.E.  Students of K.G. are also given training of computer further more various activities like sports and games cultural programmes and science fair are arranged for over all development of the students.

With a view to inculcate the feeling of nationalism, the students of secondary section of Standard 8 to 10 and higher secondary section of Standard 11 and 12 science stream are provided training of N.C.C.  With a view to develop team spirit in the students and ensure their  physical development training of various games like Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Football is given in the institute and as a result thereof.  The school has performed the best in these games at District and State Level. 

After obtaining permission and sanctioned of Gujarat University as well as A.I.C.T.E., a full time course of M.C.A. (Master of Computer Application) is being offered to the students wherein a modern computer lab with 75 computers has been prepared with the students are imparted information and knowledge through expert staff.  The entrance procedure for the course is undertaken by J.A.C.P.C. (Joint Admission Committee for Professional Course).  Furthermore, short term courses of G.C.V.T. (Gujarat Council for Vocational Training) and N.C.V.T. (National Council for Vocational Training) are also run in the institute. 

Students of Standard 5 to 10 are given admission in the hostel of Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul.
