A number of social activities are being undertaken by Shri Swaminarayan Samaj Seva Trust under the Chairmanship of Swami Govindprasaddasji Guru Purushottamcharandasji, the Kothari Swami of Shree Swaminarayan temple, Dwarika. Some of these activities are eye donation camp, diagnosis of all diseases camp, diagnosis of all veterinary diseases camp, Naturopathy cure camp, Shisya-Vriti to the poor students and help at the time of natural calamities like storm, draught, earthquake etc. Due to above all these activities, the people cherish an image about the Swaminaryan Sampradaya as a Sampradaya devoted to religion and social service.

This institute has earned the name as an institute devoted to the society. To add one more feather to its glory, the institute has started an educational institute at the outskirt of the city of Jamnagar wherein fine balance between traditional ancient values and teaching methods and modern trends and science and technology has been achieved. In this educational complex students are taking education without any burden in true sense of the term. Classes from up to standard 10 are being run in both the medium. The institute is also running one and the only Physiotherapy College for women in the whole Saurashtra region.

• To establish ‘Shree Swaminarayan Vishwa-Vidyapeeth (University) in the next 10 years by starting Commerce, Arts, Science, M.B.A., M.C.A. etc. graduate and postgraduate Colleges.
