Learned and erudite speaker Akshar Nivasi Sadguru Shastri Krishnaswaroopdasji Swami (Khandeshi Swami) remained as Kothari of the temples of Vadodara, Surat, Virsad etc. and got these temples renovated. He also spread Satsang in Kanam, Vakal and Charotar regions and got Haritemples renovated. By establishing a grand temple and centre of social service at Vasad, the gateway of Charotar region, he obtained a unique place in Satsang Samaj.

A number of social, religious activities are undertaken in this temple by Sadguru Shri K.K. Shastri Swami and the saints. Along with the celebration of the festivals like Hindola, Annakutotsav, Patotsav ‘Sanatan Hindu Samuha Lagnotsav’ is organized with the help of the devotees on the day of the Patotsav of Thakorji. With a view to develop the feeling of unity in the disorganized Hindu society and to eradicate the social evil of dowry, Shri K.K.Shastriji has taken a revolutionary step. In this group marriage ceremony newly wed couples step into their new lives without any discrimination of cast and creed, following the Hindu rituals and obtain the blessings of Shri Hari. So far such five group marriage ceremonies have been organized under the auspices of the institute, wherein about more than 300 families have availed the benefit and actively participated. To provide the facilities of Prasad and rest to the pilgrims coming for pilgrimage is one of the main activities of the institute. Services of tea, juice of fennel seed, butter milk etc. are rendered to the pilgrims. Moreover, celebration of various festivals and services of various kinds like Gau-seva, Aarogya-seva (health services) etc. are undertaken by the institute incessantly day and night. The institute has also started its services in the educational field.

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Sankegav-Bhusaval:-

With the help of many saints, Akshar Nivasi Sadguru Shastri Swami Shri Krishnaswaroopdasji undertook and performed Katha, Parayan, construction of new temples and renovation of old temples in Khan Pradesh and thereby developed the seed of Satsang and social service into a shady tree. In order that this plant of Satsang develops into a tree and expands its horizon, his disciples Sadguru Shri K.K.Shastri Swami, Sadguru Bhandari Swami, Sadguru Shri Pandit Swami and other members of the saint-mandal inaugurated and established Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul on the pious day of Akshay-tritya in the year 1999 at Sankegav, Dist.Jalgaon of Khandesh near Bhusaval city on National High Way No.6 by availing the donation of land admeasuring four acres from the donor Sheth Shri Gopal Fakira Patil of Bhusaval. The Gurukul was started in the year 2000 in the building.

The students avail education in both English and Marathi medium in the Gurukul. Excellent arrangement of education from Junior K.G. up to higher secondary in both the medium is made available in the institute to the students. Students of the hostel of the Gurukul get love and affection of the parents as well as noble qualities of life from the saints.

Two separate buildings have been built for both the medium. Moreover, two hostels, spacious Prayer Hall, Bhojanalaya, Computer centre, modern reading room, library, laboratory, vast playground, indoor games hall, swimming hall, Gymnasium, Saint Nivas and Gau-shala have been made available in the Gurukul and thereby the Gurukul aims to provide the best education and Samskaras of Indian culture to the students and to develop them into responsible citizens.
