With an aim to spread the message of  “welfare to all”  of the Lord Shri Swaminarayan, Param Pujya Varya Shastri Swami Narayanswaroopdasji started in June 1988 “Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul Hostel, Gundana Road, Gondal” run by Shri Sahjanand Education Trust.  As the institute has its own “Shri Madhav Vidyalaya” and “Shri Gondal High School” about 350 students are taking good qualities and Sanskaras in the Hostel.

• Beginning with 50 students, at present more than 350 students are taken education as well as noble qualities in the hostel.
• About 1200 students of Standard 8 to 10 are taking education with the help of the modern technology in Shri Madhav Vidyalaya and Gondal High School.
• Students getting good ranks in S.S.C. Board are encouraged with certificate and prizes.
• With higher results in the Board Examination, the Gurukul Institute has been achieving peaks of education.
