In order to spread the Principle of ‘Pravartaniya Sadvidya’ of the Lord Swaminarayan, Brahmnishtha of Shree Gopinathji Maharaj of Gadhpur and Karm-Yogi saint purani Swami Bhaktiswaroopdasji established an educational institute at Nahiyar on Bharuch Jambusar Highway No.6 about 18 years ago.
Accepting the challenge of instilling noble qualities and culture among the children of the rural areas of Amod-Bharuch, This institute has today achieved so many peaks of success due to hard labour and work of the saints and the devotees. Today there is facility from Nursery to higher secondary school in the institute.
The vast campus of the institute is spread in 22 acre of land wherein the units like Bal-Mandir, Primary School, Secondary and Higher Secondary schools, Gau-shala, Prarthan Mandir, Hostel, Computer Centre etc. are running. Due to ‘Shree Hari Krishna Computer Centre’ the institute has earned the honour of ‘Computer aided educational institute’ in Bharuch district.
Observing an unusual progress and overall development of the institute in rural area, the Government of Gujarat has entrusted with the institute the task of overall development of children of urban area as well. As a result, ‘Shree Swaminarayan Goodwill School’ was established in Bharuch city wherein there is facility of English as well as Gujarati medium from standard 1 to 12 in both Science Stream and Common Stream. Under the guidance of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Nahiyar, in the Goodwill school situated at Dahej By-pass road, Bharuch the syllabus of C.B.S.E. and G.S.E.B. pattern is being taught to the students.
