In today’s life the values are vanishing. The new generation is gradually getting away from the studies and getting trapped in the poisonous cycle of addictions. A huge challenge is pausing before us. Samskaras are more importance than education to be happy in life.
We all know it very well that now the students are losing their interest from their studies. Wrong addictions like Pan-Masala, bad company and various temptations of fashion are spreading bad habits among the children and young students at an alarming pace. Furthermore cinema, which destroys the Indian Culture, also spoils the studies of the students. A growing child feels desolate and becomes unhappy which in turn erodes the hopes of the parents and the life turns out to be miserable.
The Ashrams and Gurukuls of Shree Swaminarayan Sampradaya are putting in all their efforts and toiling hard to bring the children out of this situation wherein the child of today is praying daily in the morning and evening for his better career, doing exercises, developing noble qualities under the guidance of the saints and devoted employees. He also develops courage and discipline, feeling of nationalism, remains away from bad habits and addictions and remains of the society as well as his parents. In order to achieve all this, Shri Swaminarayan Sadvidya Ashram has been established by Shri Nilkanth Samaj Seva Trust on State High Way No.21 between Tatam-Gordaka situated at a distance of about 9 kilometers from Gadhda the famous place of pilgrimage of Gujarat.
This institute has made a huge plan of having primary school, secondary school, prayer hall, hostel, Bhojanalaya, huge play ground with all the sports implements, computer center, library, laboratory, guest house, Gau-shala etc. this task is expected to be completed within next two years. At present the construction work of the hostel is underway.
This institute has been started with the inspiration from Shri Purani Swami Swaymprakashdasji and Akshar Nivasi Sadguru Swami Vishnuprasaddasji (Mota) who hails the direct tradition of the great saint Sadguru Shri Muktanand Swami who was considered as Guru even by Shriji Maharaj and who was nicknamed as ‘Mother of Satsang’.
In a very short span of time the institute is expecting to extend and expand all its activities and it aims to lead the path of progress. Education is not the sole aim of this institute; it also intends to lead in the field of social service. Since this institute is situated in a rural area, considering the economic problem of the region it provides all the facilities along with the meals with very nominal fees. Swami Suryaprakashdasji, Swami Bhaktiprakashdasji and Shastri Shrijicharandasji are rendering their services in the institute.
